"Eyes on me, Princess."

I fell so hard for this book and these characters! This is a beautiful story that was beautifully written.
Both Andrew and Jeanette were introduced in Lines. Andrew is the alpha asshole that every girl wants but he is a one and done kind of guy.

Jeanette is cold to anyone and everyone and doesn't allow anyone past her frozen walls.

In Habits, we learn more about what makes them act the way they do.
Both of these two are stubborn and they are both broken. They are holding onto a world of hurt all by themselves because of the choices they made.  They are afraid to take risks because of their pasts.
These two are so frustrating at times and so delicate in other times. One minute I want to hug them and the next I want to strangle them. They both have such strong personalities.

One of the things I like about this series is the distinction between the characters. The couples are not carbon copies from book to book. They each have their own personalities, their quirks, and the stories follow suit.
If you love young adult romance, you NEED to read this book!

Oh wow! This was an amazing story to read! It's cute, it's sassy, it's hot, and it's emotional. 

This book grabbed my attention from the first page and kept it until the very end. I rate my books by my ability to put it down while reading it. I did not want to stop reading this! I even took it with me to my dentist appointment. (Note to self - be careful of where I'm at in the book before reading in public!)

Kyle is Chloe's new neighbor and boy do they have history. Her hatred towards him stems from high school. 

According to Melanie, Chloe's assistant, hate sex is the best sex. And let me just say - Kyle and Chloe's chemistry is off the charts HOT! 

The book goes back to Chloe's childhood a few times - just  enough so the reader can fully grasp the entire story and the mystery. 

There came a point where I was pretty sure I knew what the secret was. Then all I wanted to do was read to see how it was going to play out because it was not going to be pretty. 

Well - what I wasn't expecting was to have the author throw me - the reader - an emotional curveball. I did NOT see it coming!

This book made me laugh, got me hot, wrecked me and then put me back together.

I was born and raised in the Steel City, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Home of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Steelers, and Pirates. We are famous for Mario Lemieux, Sidney Crosby, Pierogis, saying “yinz”, and sandwiches with coleslaw and French fries on them (just to name a few). I live with my husband, teen son and fur babies.

We are huge hockey fans and adore our home team, the Pittsburgh Penguins. During the hockey season, our lives revolve around the game schedule.

I decided one day I wanted to write a fan fiction short story about my favorite hockey player. Eventually, I no longer had a fan fiction, I had a full-length story. Sure the idea got changed around a few times, and names got changed to protect the innocent…lol. And that’s where I started. I wrote one and the rest just followed.

I love hockey and I love romance novels, I didn’t even know there was a whole genre of books out there when I started writing my first novel. I love making the game part of the overall story (I love the whole experience of being at an NHL game, the noise, the food, the sound of the skates on the ice.) So expect the game to be part of my books. I spend time during the season at Penguins practices watching how they interact, talk, and work on the ice, to make my scenes as real to life as possible. My hope is even if you’ve never set foot into a hockey rink, you will feel as if you had while reading my books.

My characters aren’t always rough and gruff, because not all hockey players are goons. I’ve had the chance to meet a few and they are awesome guys. So, I like to show a gentle and caring side along with the rough and tough.

I am a Hallmark movie junkie. I adore the Christmas movies and all the cutesy (and sometimes cliché) romance, and I love to get swept away in it all. I also will binge watch my favorite tv shows BONES FRIENDS, LAST MAN STANDING, SUPERNATURAL, and CHICAGO PD.

From the first time I saw the blurb, I knew I had to read this story. I'm a fan of this author's stranger-to-lovers stories and let me tell you this was one of my top favorite reads of the year so far! From the poetry to the characters to the angst and everything in between, I absolutely loved it!

For Mercy, she was attracted to someone totally opposite of what was her norm and so suddenly after having her world turned upside down and yet he brought her out of her shell.
For Wrong, he thought he had lost the love of his life. He had already had his 10. He just never knew there was an 11 out there.


There are certain books that when read at a particular moment in your life, it just grabs you and shakes you. For me, this was that book.
