Kristy Marie did a phenomenal job with Rebellious! So much so that I don't want this story to be over and I'm kind of sad it is.  

This story is beautifully told. There is humor, there are tears, there's heartbreak and there is SO MUCH ANGST. 

I laughed, I cried, I sobbed, and I laughed while I cried. But let me say the tears are worth it because this story is golden!

A definite 2021 favorite read and an all-time favorite!

For those that have read Kristy Marie's CIB series, we've seen Aspen as a baby and then Kristy Marie later released a snippet that peaked into the future and shared when Aspen first met Cade and Brecklyn's twins, Drew and Bennett. 

Now we get to see how they fared.

Aspen is a mix of Theo and Anniston - sassy, blunt, full of sarcasm. Bennett is Cade all over again - grumpy and no-nonsense.  

One step forward, two steps back. That's how it must seem to Aspen regarding Bennett. 

The rules - some are simple, some are heartbreaking. 

Let me just say, No Rules Bennett should come with a warning label! Grumpy Bennett was hot, but THIS Bennett is on a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL.

As a CIB fan, Theo and Cade as parents are everything! There was a point I didn't think these two would ever be able to tolerate each other's presence. Yet here we are with their kids' story. Seeing both of these as fathers make my heart warm. I think I would be happy to see the next generation and watch these two as grandparents! I will never get tired of these two!

There were certain scenes that broke me all over again but was also cathartic in a way.

You see,  Kristy Marie gave us two characters from her CIB series that are polar opposites and, even though we may love one more than the other, we can't help but like them both. They are and will forever be linked to each other - whether they like it or not. 

Usually, after we finish a book, everything fades to black and we assume they live happily ever after. We may get glimpses of them here and there but Kristy Marie pulled back those curtains for us CIB fans to give glimpses of their lives from the end of those prior books to the present day in Rebellious. That's something I've rarely seen done - if at all - and it's amazing. It's emotional, so make sure the tissues are close by, but it's so worth the tears. 

Let's not forget the stories that haven't been told - Fenn and Drew specifically. I have a feeling there may be another emotional read waiting in the wings with at least one of these. 

The story doesn't spell everything out in order but, like the memorable stories do, it will be explained throughout and take you on an emotional journey. In the end, the puzzle pieces will fit nicely.

I didn't know how bad I needed this book until after I read it! It's addictive, it's clever, it's mafia with the violence I have come to expect in these types of books and it's hot as hell when it's supposed to be. 

This book breathed life back into me after being in a book funk for so long. 

I want to gush about this book so bad but I don't want to give anything away because this book should be read going in blind and not knowing the spoilers. I only wish I could watch other readers' faces at certain moments to see if they had the same reaction that I did. 

I love how the author gave us a strong heroine yet she didn't make her completely invincible. She IS vulnerable but she doesn't let it hold her back. 

And the hero! Wow! Complete alpha all the way! These two compliment each other so perfectly! 

If you like mafia, if you want to read something that will keep your attention the whole way through, I HIGHLY suggest reading this!

Oh my goodness! Be prepared to swoon over this one!

I want to gush about so much but to do so would possibly spoil one of the major surprises in this book. 

Adriana Locke did an amazing job with Boone's story! It's sweet, it's funny,  and it gets emotional at times. 

Oh! I want to be Siggy in 10 - 15 years. I love her and her ability to handle all her boys.

I really enjoyed this one and I can't wait to see what's in store with the next Mason sibling.
