Pop Goes The Biker had me feeling all sorts of things and even after waking up after finishing it, I still can't quit thinking about it!
This is the third book in the series and has a slightly different vibe than the first two. (It's still addictive - I read it in one day.) Where the first two books involved women who were not originally part of the MC world, Poppy is a criminal and has stolen from the club and therefore we get to see the threatening, more severe side of these guys that we didn't get to see before.
Beckett is in babysitting duty and these two are like oil and water. Poppy soon learns Beckett has a secret and it throws more drama into the mix.
I love that there is a mix of fun and sarcasm along with turmoil and suspense. And the angst and heat is phenomenal!
(For those that read the book - the only thing I wish was different was that Poppy didn't grow a conscious with you know who. It wouldn't have hurt my feelings for that person to have been dealt with and for Poppy to have been able to at least get a slap in or something.)
These characters have complicated relationships and it's partly why the stories are unique and gripping. For some readers, boundaries may be pushed, so fair warning. If this isn't an issue though, I HIGHLY suggest reading this book and this series because it is THAT good!
And let's not forget the teaser for the next book. Holy crap! That's something I didn't see coming! I can't wait!
