I wondered how Michelle Heard was going to go out with Alexei's story. One way - emotionally! This is the only book in the series that had me crying. Not tears in my eyes, but actually crying!
This story was everything I hoped it would be and everything I needed it to be. It goes darker & deeper than the other books, in my opinion. It hurt a little, but so worth it for the story!
Isabella is the perfect person for Alexei. First, she's a total badass and can handle her own. Second, she has the same morals as Alexei and his group. Third, she's the daughter of his worst enemy. Finding his match can't be easy for him, right?
Alexei is used to getting everything he wants. The word "no" is not one he's used to hearing much less accept. In this story, we see a vulnerable side that not many get to see from Alexei.
"Where you go, we go."
We get to see the whole gang and it warmed my heart but it also had my heart in my stomach at the same time because it wasn't a social gathering.
This group/world has been so much fun and addictive to read! The whole time I've been reading these, I can't help but think that this world would be perfect as a television series! From the beginning at St. Monarch’s till the very end. It has had everything that is needed to keep me hooked and being for more.
