How hard can it be?
That was the question rolling around Larissa Mason’s mind just before she asked Hollis Hudson to be her fake boyfriend.
It was only supposed to be for five minutes, after all.
Granted, that was also before she felt his hand on the small of her back as he charmed the heck out of her family.
She hadn’t heard his laugh yet either.
And it was definitely before she saw the football god shirtless. Otherwise, she would’ve had an idea of just how hard some things could be.
It turns out that pretending to be in love with a crazily handsome, somewhat enigmatic, and absolutely unforgettable tight end (that has an amazing tight end) is easy.
Reminding herself that just because opposites attract doesn’t mean they’re forever is much harder.
What they have isn’t love—it’s a relationship pact. Right?

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

From their meet cute to the very end, Hollis and Larissa were so easy to fall in love with and cheer on. I loved it when Larissa presses Hollis to talk. These two are on fire when they need to be but this couple offers so much more.

My heart, my poor heart, hurts when Hollis tells his truth. In each story, my heart breaks for these guys but Hollis had the ability to make my chin quiver as his story unfolds.

I need a Grandma Judy! If Judy and Hollis's scenes don't get to you, there's something wrong with you. I loved the way she rationalized the hurt. Also, she may be the reason I laugh the next time I see a watermelon.

To add to an already incredible read, let's talk about the side characters. This story takes place in Savanah, GA. Adriana Locke gives us not one guest appearance but SEVERAL of them. She also teases her upcoming book that I wanted to read prior to this but now I seriously can't wait to get my hands on it.

The Romantic Pact made me cry throughout the story because it was emotionally charged. I felt like I was crying with the characters.

In The Relationship Pact, it was also incredibly emotional but this time I was crying FOR someone.

I love Adriana Locke's writing. She’s an author I trust to give me a story I will enjoy. She has this way of telling her story where I feel what she's writing. She's made me emotional here and there but NEVER as much as she did with The Relationship Pact.
