New Release + Review: One Little Dare by Whitney Barbetti

Release Date: July 29

Truth or dare? I always choose a dare. And no matter the dare, I always follow through.

Even if it means walking down a busy street in my bathrobe and hair curlers.

Or recreating that iconic When Harry Met Sally deli scene while on a crowded subway.

Or hitting on a handsome stranger in a bar.

And then … marrying that stranger. While in Vegas.

But the one thing I’m not supposed to do is fall in love with this man.

That wasn’t part of the dare.

Only my heart never got that memo.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ - 1/2

What a beautiful, emotional story! While the blurb led me to believe this would be a fun, laugh-out-loud read, it was so much more! I can't tell you how happy that I  was so wrong!

Tori has a reputation for always taking the dares when playing truth-or-dare. It's so bad, her mom is worried when she's helping Tori pack to go to a bachelorette party in Vegas.

While in Vegas, she keeps getting dared. Each time the ante gets upped. The last dare? To get married to a total stranger.

Let me start off by saying there is so much to Tori! She's fun and adventurous and just so charismatic. She also doesn't give herself enough credit.

Liam is in Vegas with friends for the week. He gets swept up in Tori's craziness. The two are as opposite as it comes, yet they mesh so well.

Prepare yourself with tissues because there will be times you will need them. It's not a sad story by any means but the author gives a few powerful moments where if anyone has had relatable experiences, it will get to you.

While One Little Dare wasn't the read I was expecting, I  am so glad I got to read it!

If you like strangers-to-lovers, opposites-attract stories with a little depth to them, this is for you!
