Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This was a cute enemies-to-lovers story that takes place in the now.
Cameron takes cover at her family's cabin when the pandemic takes place. What she didn't realize was that her brother gave his best friend, Elijah, permission to stay at the cabin too.
Elijah and Cameron haven't gotten along since they were younger. Now they have to share a cabin together.
It's so relatable because these two experience the same threats and anxiety that we are experiencing as well. They also cope with self-quarantining in ways a lot of us have. And let's not forget the toilet paper shortage!
Overall the story was cute and the build up between these two tortured me (in a good way) almost as much as it did for Cameron .
What I didn't like was the way the story flew by at the end. It was so fast paced at the end that I felt slighted.
