While The Hunter has a different, lighter feel than the characters that live in San Todos, it's still equally entertaining and feelings are not spared.
This opposites-attract romance is full of banter that kept me entertained. Hunter alone kept me entertained with his one-liners. The author gave Hunter a strong, female counterpart that will give him a run for his money.
The chemistry between these two starts slow but even when they didn't like each other, Hunter and Sailor still had each other's backs when others didn't.
I also enjoyed the female camaraderie in this book. For so long, it's been the guys who connect the stories. I'm glad that LJ Shen is giving The Boston Belles series a different spin by letting the girls be the connection this time.
