In my defense, I didn’t know who he was. To me, he was a cool, calm, confident stranger. He was perfection for the entire hour and a half train ride while the concrete jungle turned into a rolling green landscape.
To an outsider, we probably appeared more friends than hopeful lovers. But my blush came quickly, and his dimples indented with every smile. We definitely shared a spark of what could be.
Too bad I didn’t know who he was before I fell for him, because he can’t be mine.

Ethan has a golden rule not to date coworkers but he can't quit obsessing over Blanca. When these two FINALLY agree to a relationship, they find out that Ethan is Blanca's best friend's ex.
This was a fun, cute read. It was interesting to see how the authors kept Blanca and Ethan from finding out the connection.
The push and pull between these two kept me on my toes and I was glad the authors gave Blanca a backbone and know her worth.
The only person I wasn't a fan of was the Bestie. I was personally hoping she would get the boot but she's getting her story next.
Speaking of stories, this new group of characters have their stories teased in My Bestie's Ex and I am here for it! So much goodness is headed our way!
Of course we get more of the Mancinis and between their Sunday dinners and Ethan's skills in the kitchen, I swear my stomach was constantly growling. Piper Rayne should at least publish an extended epilogue or something with all this yummy goodness they write in their stories!
