For those that have read the DiMarco series, we've met Maggie before. Luke DiMarco has tried again and again to help her escape the clutches of Snake and the Black Widows MC but she's never accepted the help. She's accepted there's no way out.
Fate changes that when Maggie hears information that puts innocent people in danger and she knows she can't keep quiet. She finally escapes the MCand now she's at the doorstep of the Black Widows' nemesis, the Sinners MC. The Sinners know who she is and who she belongs to. What they don't know is her end goal for showing up at their clubhouse.
Gunner is the Sinners VP and has had his eye on Maggie for a long time. Now he's out to protect her at all costs and remind her that not all men are bad and not everyone has ulterior motives. Except Gunner has secrets of his own that could take everything that matters to him away in the blink of an eye.
I'm super excited to finally delve into the Sinners MC! They have frequented the DiMarco stories and I couldn't help but be curious what their stories were.
Gunner and Maggie's story set a great tone for what's to happen and I can't wait. Jennifer Hanks wasted no time teasing us with all the possible stories this series could offer.
I was happy to see my favorite patriarch, Jack, make an appearance and share his wisdom. We all need a Jack in our lives!
Sweet Revenge was suspenseful and slipped into some dark areas. It needed to. Maggie's story has always been a rough one. To make this a light story would be a disservice to her and to the Sinners.
Then there's that ending!!! More drama is on its way and I can't wait!
