Overall, I think this was a great start to the Lords of Wildwood series.
It was a bit slow to get into but there were several things going on so it kept my attention.
Crispin and Tinsley were friends first but now they are enemies. Tinsley is starting a new school where Crispin is the golden child. He makes it known that whether Tinsley has a good year at school will all depend on him. Tinsley has to learn who she can trust and who she can't.
One thing I didn't like was how willing Tinsley was at being used/abused/taken advantage of. She has a backbone at certain times, and I love her when she doesn't back down, and then at other times, it's gone and she just lets herself get walked on.
This series has everything you would expect a high school series to have - popular guys, bullies, mean girls, the underdogs, and LOTS of secrets.
I can't wait for the next one to see what else is in store for this group of people!
