Surprising!!! First off - if you've been following the series, do NOT read the reviews for spoilers! Trust me!
Emma Louise had this way with her writing where she wastes no time sucking you in!
I enjoyed reading this book but it was not the story I thought I was going to get. By chapter 3, I was already emotional. Chapter 5 was when my jaw dropped.
I was unsure how I would feel about the direction it was going but this story was beautifully written. Every qualm that I had in the beginning was easily smoothed over. The one part that would have swayed my decision was the reconciliation that HAD to happen in my opinion to make it believable.
To be honest, this was the hardest of the three to move on from. Not everything was tied up in a pretty bow. It ended with some people's happy ending up in the air and the not knowing left me super emotional. I became vested in these characters, so I want to know they are all okay.
This series has brought real-life issues into each story. They are written in ways that made me emotional while reading and even after I was done reading.
I have enjoyed this series and highly recommend this as a binge-read if you are a binge-reader. These are also great as standalones - the stories are beautiful read in order and they are just as great on their own.
I look forward to reading more from this author!
